Gatorade Free Flow Tour Results

Gatorade Free Flow Tour 2010

The Free Flow contest once again came through Nashville, TN, and it was probably one of the best yet!  It was the second day of being open at our new indoor skatepark, and I can’t think of a better way to break it in then with this contest.

Starting the contest off right was the 13 & under JR Jam division.  There were over 30 competitors, and these little dudes were killing it.  In 3rd place we had Christian Fonsecca with a big bag of tricks.  A few of the stand out tricks were varial heel on the 4 stair, and a smith down the 4 stair rail.  2nd place went to Grayson Beal with a kickflip down the 4 stair, backside 180 the 7 stair, and a big ollie to fakie on the vert wall.  1st place was evident, and it went to Shane Farber.  He very rarely fell in his final run, and he landed a crazy amount of tricks.  He did a feeble down the 7 rail, kickfliped the 7 stair, did a lip slide on the 4 rail, landed a 5-0 pop-out on the up ledge… this little guy killed it.

After the Junior Jam we had our Open Division, and it was probably our best turn outs ever.  It was hard for the judges to pick the semi-finals… let alone the finals.  3rd place went to Keegan Kim.  He skated fast, and in the finals did a back smith on the big hubba, crooked UP the 4 stair hubba, front blunt on the gap to hubba, and hurricaned the7 rail.   Ryan Thompson took 2nd place in a very tight decision.  This guy has a big bag of tricks, and used them all in the finals.  A few tricks were crook pop-over, nollie smith on the 4 stair hubba, front lip the 4 stair rail, crook to feeble on the flat rail, and a nollie flip on the 4.  Myquel Haddox took 1st place for the day.  After almost not making it into the semi-finals he pulled it together at the end of the day, and skated incredibly.  A few of the tricks he landed in the finals… ollie up the 4 stair, half-cab flip down the 4, kickflip the 7, gap to 5-0 on the hubba, backside 180 up the stage, 360 flip over the 4 rail, bs 180 over the 7 rail into the bank, and a bigflip front board on the 4 rail.
